Suspect Arrested in Fatal District Heights Stabbing

18-year-old charged with second degree murder after dinner party turns violent.

On Monday, The Prince George's County Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect, 18-year-old Jarhea Carter, in the murder of 36-year-old Lamont Fleet in District Heights over the weekend. 

Fleet, a resident of Washington, DC, suffered fatal stab wounds after an argument turned violent during a dinner party at the 3200 block of Prince Ranier Place in District Heights on Saturday night, according to police. 

Carter, a resident of the home where the stabbing took place, is charged with second degree murder.
