Prince George's Community College Chooses Its Official Song
The college's new victory song will be performed at athletic events, commencement and other student activities.
A dozen entries came in from students staff and faculty in Prince George's Community College's contest to select lyrics for a victory song — and the winner was "Victorious," literally. Plans to put the winning lyrics of "Victorious" to music are underway, according Joe Clark, PGCC spokesman. The victory song will be performed at athletic events, commencement and other student activities, according to Kalika White, lyrics contest committee member. “We wanted students to get excited about attending and graduating from Prince George's Community College,” said White.
