Deputy Sheriff Fatally Shoots Burglar at His Fort Washington Home

A deputy sheriff who works in Alexandria, VA, was confronted by a burglary suspect when he arrived home to Fort Washington, according to police.

Update: 6:02 p.m.: Police have identified the burglary suspect who they say was fatally shot by a VA deputy sheriff while the deputy's Fort Washington home was being burglarized. The deceased suspect is Jon Adgrain Pocknett, 20, of the 4000 block of Doncaster Drive in Indian Head, according to police.
