Argument Over Coat Leads to Gunfire in Forestville

An argument over a missing coat turned physical and gunfire broke out striking three victims, according to the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office.

  A man was arrested in Forestville, MD on charges of first-degree murder after an argument over a missing coat turned physical and shots were fired, according to the Prince George's County Office of the Sheriff. Lonell Bowen, 20, of Forestville was arrested Jan. 3 on an arrest warrant for attempted first degree murder obtained by the Prince George's County Police, according to the Sheriff's Office. Bowen is charged with two additional counts of attempted first degree murder along with other charges, the Sheriff's Office stated.  Bowen attended a dance in the 3800 block of Penn Belt Place in Forestville on Dec. 29 when the argument broke out over the missing coat, according to the Sheriff's Office.
