Seat Pleasant Man Who Witnessed Shooting Killed Wednesday

The man was carrying his 2-year-old son when he was shot.

A Seat Pleasant man, who had witnessed a prior shooting, was shot and killed Wednesday while holding his 2-year-old son, according to a WJLA story. Nicoh Mayhew was walking to his mother's apartment in the 6800 block of Seat Pleasant Drive when he was shot. His son was shot in the arm. Nicoh Mayhew, who was slain Wednesday in Seat Pleasant, had witnessed a prior shooting. He was reportedly offered protection but declined. Mayhew was killed and his 2-year-old son was wounded after the shooting in the 6800 block of Seat Pleasant Drive. The toddler was shot in the arm. The suspects fled the scene in a 4-door black BMW with Maryland tags, according to WJLA.

Pr. George's Deputies Arrest Two Men in Kidnapping and Burglary Cases

The were arrested at a home in Seat Pleasant.

  Prince George's Sheriff's deputies arrested and charged two men Tuesday with kidnapping and burglary. Brandon Lee and Terrace Buckman Jr. were arrested without incident in Seat Pleasant. According to deputies, on Aug. 29 the suspects approached a man in the 10700 block of Bickford Avenue in Clinton and Lee allegedly exited the blue vehicle and grabbed the man from behind, forcing him into the backseat of the vehicle. Buckman then allegedly reached down to get a handgun, and the victim jumped out of the car and ran, the warrant stated. On May 4, deputies said, Buckman allegedly entered a home in the 6800 block of Groveton Road in Clinton and allegedly took $12,400 worth of property.
