Community Discusses New Regional Medical Center

More than 350 people attended the standing room only meeting at the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex.

Stakeholders, community members, and government officials came together Thursday to discuss site locations for the proposed new Regional Medical Center (RMC). “The Baker Administration has been steadfast in our efforts to prioritize and propel the county and region’s health care system” said Bradford L. Seamon, chief administrative officer for Prince George’s County, in a statement. Representatives from Dimensions Healthcare System, the University of Maryland Medical System (UUMS), and state and county officials attended the meeting Thursday evening at the Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Complex, along with more than 300 community members.  Four proposed sites for the new facility were discussed—Landover Mall, Largo Town Center…
