No Suspect, No Motive in Honor Student's Murder
Police are still searching for a suspect and a motive in Amber Stanley's fatal shooting.
Police continue to investigate the homicide of a 17-year-old honor student from Kettering, spending much of Thursday evening going door-to-door to talk to neighbors. According to police, they found Amber Stanley fatally shot in her home in the 100 block of Chartsey Street Wednesday night. Police told The Washington Post that an intruder broke into the home, went into Stanley's bedroom and shot her multiple times. Other people were home at the time, according to the Post, but they were not injured. Prince George's County police tweeted Thursday asking their followers to help them crack the case.
