Teen Child Care Provider Charged with Child Abuse
A witness captured video of Johnathan Desmond Cummings, 19, assaulting a two-year-old boy, according to police.
A 19-year-old Upper Marlboro day care employee is charged in a child abuse case after a witness caught him striking a two-year-old boy on video, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. In the video, Johnathan Desmond Cummings is shown assaulting a boy under his care at an unlicensed residential day care on the 13600 block of Wood Ember Drive, according to police. Officers were called to the day care on Monday for the report of physical child abuse, police said. The boy's parents were alerted to the assault by video a witnesses captured, according to police.
