Police Ask Public's Help to Identify Robber of Greater Upper Marlboro Bank

Crime Solvers has announced a cash reward for tips that lead to an arrest and indictment.

Prince George's County police are asking the public's help to identify a suspect caught on surveillance in the Feb. 15 robbery of a SunTrust Bank in greater Upper Marlboro. They are also investigating whether the suspect was armed during the robbery, according to Christina Cotterman, Prince George's police spokeswoman. Police said at around 1 p.m., the suspect passed a note demanding money to a teller at the SunTrust in the 5700 block of Crain Highway. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. Police have released surveillance photographs of the suspect and describe him as a man in his 40s, roughly 5-foot-8, and between 160 and 170 pounds.
