PGCC Tops AACC in Mens Basketball

The Prince George's Community College team defeated Anne Arundel Community College, 77-76, in the Region XX Championship.

It was a close game on Saturday as Prince George's Community College (PGCC) won the mens basketball Region XX Championship game against Anne Arundel Community College (AACC). PGCC came out on top by just one point, 77-76. Both teams play in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Josiah Woodruff received MVP honors at the tournament, according to a release from PGCC. The following players were named to the all-tournament team: David Golladay of PGCC, and Kevin Eaglin and Erin Senegal, both of AACC.
