Not a fan of football but like puppies? The 2013 Animal Planet Puppy Bowl IX is the "cutest sports event of the year" and is on Super Bowl Sunday right before Super Bowl 47.
The ninth annual Puppy Bowl will again air Sunday before the 2013 Super Bowl. Check out the cuteness on Animal Planet from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. (ET) on Feb. 3. The 2013 Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet will include, of course, 35 puppies in addition to hedgehog cheerleaders, the super-slow Cute Cam, a puppy hot tub for the athletes to rest their sore muscles and a kitty halftime show. Police Officer John Quarless was chosen in January as Prince George's police officer of the month for police District I. Here's what the Prince George's Police Department said about Quarless: On Dec. 4, Police Officer John Quarless spotted a car without its headlights on. While trying to conduct a traffic stop, he noticed the driver throw an object out of the driver’s side window. Quarless arrested the driver, who police say is a known gang member.
