Don't go to this shop because they have dishonest mechanics. They over charged me 250 on a timing belt kit. I happen to go to auto advance to get parts and when I looked up how much a timing belt kit cost. I was pissed. Joesph brown must work for Ayt because this place was everything but professional. Do your research because people will take advantage of you because they think you dont know anything about cars. I will NEVER go to this shop again

I took my car to this shop because it stopped working and the mechanic charged me over 500 dollars for a service they did not do. The mechanic didn't know how to do the work so instead of giving all my money back they took 500 of it for labor. And that was just to tell me wgats wrong with it. And I had to transport my car to another shop to get the work done. And they took my engine apart because they thought they put me in s financial crunch. They was surprised they I got to towed to another shop. But I'm Aldo filing a complaint with the state of Md because that's theft to me. If they do the same to you report them to Maryland attorney general.

The new manager at Ayt tommys' is awesome, very helpful.. honest and great service. I read the review written by Yar and i can only imagine that Mr yar did not deal with the Manager: case would of been resolved and he would have been satisfied.. I highly recommend AYT

They fail on both professionalism and technical competancy:
A) In a phone call discussing work & prices, I was given three quotes by two people - then they tried to charge me the highest quote when it came time to pay. If I hadn't written down names and prices I'd have had to shell out another $130.
B) They recommended I have a part changed, but when I asked them to point to it (the PCV valve) nobody could do so and their manual said "doesn't have a PCV valve".
C) Their price for replacing the fuel injectors was reasonable, but $300 to replace spark plugs, wires & distributor cap? $25 to check transmission fluid level?
D) The prices on the wall have been there for at least five months (the time between my first & second visits), but after I was charged more then was shown I was told "they're old prices". I eventually paid the lower price, but that's called "false advertising", people.
E) Finally, the oil change advertised a check of the lights & fluid levels. They said everything was fine, but I've got both a brake and headlight out.

I'm never going back, and I suggest you never start. While they were polite and - after being shown written records of who said what - quite willing to charge what they said it'd cost, I no longer trust them to actually *do* the work. They certainly didn't in my case.
