University of Maryland students, faculty and staff helped fix up a research facility Monday.
Nearly 1,000 students—mostly freshman— joined faculty and staff Monday to volunteer around communities in the DC Metro region, including Upper Marlboro.
As a part of College Park Scholars Service Day, the group painted, at the Central Maryland Research and Education Center in Upper Marlboro.
