Patuxent Rural Legacy Bike Ride

Cycling enthusiasts and lovers of the outdoors are invited to attend this 64-mile bike ride sponsored by Oxon Hill Bicycle and Trail Club. Optional shortcuts provide shorter routes of 13, 26, 35 or 49 miles. Maryland's Rural Legacy Program preserves selected rural areas from development. Registration is from 7-9 a.m.; the registration fee covers food and drink at four locations, map, SAG support and an after-ride picnic. Children age 17 and under can ride for free. Cyclists should bring their own water, bug spray and sunscreen.
