Upper Marlboro Residents Named to Dean's List

Rebecca Pettit and Ryan Adams-Brown made the grade at their respective schools.

Two Upper Marlboro residents have been named to the Dean’s List at their respective schools.

Rebecca Pettit, who attends Notre Dame of Maryland University, maintained at least a 3.5 grade-point average during the fall 2011 semester. The university provides students with opportunities in research, overseas study, and global community service, according to a press release.

Ryan Adams-Brown, a senior biology major at Washington College in Chestertown, maintained at least a 3.4 grade-point average during the fall 2011 semester.

Washington College is a private, liberal arts college. Chestertown is located along the Maryland Eastern Shore.
