School Board Member Carolyn Boston Holds Canned Food Drive

The District 6 school board member visited Concord, Francis Scott Key, and William Paca elementary schools to collect canned foods and non-perishable items for local families.

Prince George's County school board member Carolyn M. Boston, whose district includes nearby Fairmount Heights, held a canned food drive on Nov. 21. She stopped at Concord, Francis Scott Key and William Paca elementary schools to collect canned goods for local families in need.

At each stop, students and teachers helped load their canned good items onto a truck. All schools have donated more than 1,000 items that will be delivered to families this holiday season.
