Prince George's Schools Make Decision on Monday Classes

Prince George's County Public Schools officials have made a decision about Monday classes.

No waiting until early morning for parents and students in Prince George's County. Officials have already canceled classes for Monday, March 3.

The district is in Code Red, meaning buildings are closed to all personnel as well.

Parents seemed to welcome the early decision.

Suzanne P Voelker wrote on the school system's Facebook page: "Thank you for making the decision early instead of making us wait until the morning. This is much appreciated."
