Three-member committee to gather input from residents, interested parties in telephone town hall tonight.

The Prince George's County Public Schools Chief Executive Officer Search Committee will be hosting a second town hall meeting tonight by telephone to gather input from county residents and other interested parties, like school faculty and staff union representatives.

Interested parties can participate in the town hall meeting by calling 855-246-7045 and dialing extension 21990# when prompted. The call will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. Registration is not required to participate in the telephone town hall.

"This is a great way for us to get input from a lot of people at one time, plus it is very convenient for the participants," said Dr. Charlene Dukes, who is leading the search committee as Chair of the Maryland State Board of Education, in a press release issued by the office of County Executive Rushern Baker.  "Prince Georgians are very excited about the opportunity to participate in this process.  I am looking forward to hearing from parents, teachers, business people, pastors and community advocates."
