PGCC Faculty Art on Display Through Nov. 8

Art professors showcase ceramics, drawings, paintings and sculptures at Prince George's Community College.

More than 75 works of art will be on display in the Marlboro Gallery on Prince George's Community College's Largo campus through Nov. 8.

The art was created by 28 PGCC art faculty for the 54th Annual Art Faculty Exhibition and includes ceramics, computer graphics, drawings, paintings, photographs and sculptures.

“Prince George’s Community College faculty is dedicated to the art-making process as well as teaching,” said Thomas Berault, director of Marlboro Gallery. “Each professor looks forward to this annual opportunity to share their passion for art with students, staff and the community."

The public is invited to a reception Thursday, Oct. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the art will be on sale.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. Marlboro Gallery will close at noon on November 8. For more information, call 301-322-0965.
