Central High to Host Memorial For Murdered Student

The high school will host a memorial for Marckel Ross Friday.

 

This week has been hard for students and faculty at Central High School mourning the loss of a student that was gunned down while walking to school Tuesday.

Marckel Ross, 18, was a junior at Central High in Capitol Heights. On Friday, the school will honor him at 2 p.m. in the football field.

Students will wear light blue shirts and assemble on the school's football field and release light blue balloons.

The school is also accepting cash or money order donations on behalf of his family for a memorial fund in Ross’ name. For more information, contact 301-499-7080.
