Upper Marlboro Commissioners Meet Tonight
What to expect at tonight's town commissoner meeting.
The Upper Marlboro Board of Town Commissioners will hold its regular meeting at the Town Hall on Tuesday, June 5, at 7:30 p.m.
In tonight’s meeting, the commissioners will adopt the town’s fiscal year 2013 budget, which totals $901,051.
The initial budget proposed was $914,408, mostly reflecting a large increase in the employee health insurance plan. The town obtained a new plan with significantly lower rates, allowing them to reduce the budget, according to the town’s newsletter.
