Twitter Thoughts on Upper Marlboro Flood Repairs

It will cost at least $14 million to repair the County Administration Building. What are your thoughts?

Yesterday, , which said it would cost at least $14 million to repair the flood-damaged County Administration Building in Upper Marlboro, the headquarters for the County Council and County Executive Rushern L. Baker III.

In September, and submerged the building's first floor. According to the Examiner report, only $5 million of the damage will be covered by the county's insurance policies. County officials are hoping the Federal Emergency Management Agency will handle the rest.

Needless to say, dollar figures that large don't go unnoticed. Above is the immediate response I received on Twitter once the Patch story went viral.
