Dramatic Declines in Prince George's Crime

At a standing-room only news conference, Prince George's County police and government officials announced a year of historically low crime statistics. The last time crime was this low, Ronald Reagan was president and Doug Williams was the Redskins' quarterback.  

A Laurel High School student was hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation this week after threatening to commit acts of violence and "possibly shoot and kill others," according to officials. The student reportedly had access to guns.
