India Delegation Meets in Largo to Promote Economic Development

The Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation wants to facilitate a working business relationship between Maryland and India, according to the corporation.

 

A group of business representatives from India met with the U.S. Indian American Chamber of Commerce Wednesday in Upper Marlboro. The luncheon meeting was hosted by the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation.

The delegation tried to promote educational and economic development between Prince George's County and India, according to the economic development corporation.

"We are continuously working on opportunities with our friends and partners in India. We are honored to host this delegation as nearly 98 percent of all enterprises in Maryland are small and medium enterprises," said EDC Senior Vice President Pradeep Ganguly.
