County Administration Building Re-Opens Today

The Upper Marlboro building had been closed due to flooding.

After being closed the last three weekdays due to flooding, the Prince George’s County Administration Building in Upper Marlboro will be open today.

All employees should come to work at their usual reporting time, according to county information. The building's lower level entrance will remain closed. Employees and visitors should use the first floor entrance. 

For information about marriage licenses and land records, call David J. Billings III at 240-460-6504. Residents can also call the County Clerk’s office number at 301-952-3318, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

The Prince George’s County Council announced previously that the session scheduled for today will be held at the Prince George’s County Parks and Recreation Auditorium, 6600 Kenilworth Avenue in Riverdale.

The joint public hearing for the Priority Preservation Area Functional Master Plan, scheduled for 7 p.m. today, will also take place at the Riverdale auditorium. Today's County Council agenda briefing will begin at 1 p.m. The joint public hearing for the Priority Preservation Area Functional Master Plan will begin at 7 p.m.
