Young Girl Sexually Assaulted in Oxon Hill
A 30-year-old black man entered a bedroom window and assaulted a 10-year-old girl, police say.
The county police department is investigating the sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl that occurred yesterday in Oxon Hill.
At about 6:45 a.m. Monday, patrol officers went to the 5400 block of Livingston Terrace for a sexual assault. Once they arrived, investigators discovered that an unknown man entered a bedroom window and sexually assaulted a young girl there. The man then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a 30-year-old black man with a dark complexion and beard. He was last seen wearing a black scarf covering his head and eyes, a black T-shirt, and black work boots.

In a press release, police urged residents to keep their windows and doors locked.
