WUSA: Arrests Made After Food Fight in Upper Marlboro

The food fight escalated into a larger disturbance, according to WUSA.com.

Nine people were arrested at Henry Wise High School Wednesday afternoon after a food fight grew out of control, according to WUSA.com.

According to the report, a spokeswoman with the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office said the fight erupted shortly after 3 p.m. Then the school's resource officers had to call in extra deputies and the police department to help calm the violence.

The nine people arrested were charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and disruption of school activities, according to the WUSA report.
