WSSC Officials Working to Fix Water Main

No timetable for repair.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is repairing a 30-inch water main in the 6900 block of South Osborne Road. Traffic on the 2-lane road has been rerouted.

WSSC officials are unsure how many customers have been affected or how long it will take to make repairs.

The break, which was confirmed late last night, caused the road to collapse, creating a sinkhole. One car fell into the hole and was towed from the scene. No injuries have been reported.
