Virginia Man Arrested in Oxon Hill Stabbing Case

Michael Douglas Nealy is being held without bond in Upper Marlboro.

Michael Douglas Nealy, 35, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the stabbing last week in Oxon Hill.

On Nov. 18 at about 5:30 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of Marcy Avenue for a reported cutting. Once they arrived, they found Butler, 20, of the 5600 block of Sachem Drive in Oxon Hill, suffering from trauma to his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Through the course of their investigation, homicide detectives determined Nealy, of the 7100 block of Richmond Highway in Alexandria, VA, was a suspect in the case.

Nealy was arrested Monday in Lanham and is being held without bond by the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro.
