VIDEO: BB&T Bank Robbed in Fort Washington
Police release surveillance video of December bank robbery.
Prince George's County police officers are still looking for a man who reportedly robbed a BB&T Bank along Livingston Road in Fort Washington in December 2011. The police department recently released a surveillance video on YouTube of the robbery.
On Dec. 7, a man wearing a Spider-Man mask walked into the building and attempted to gain access to a locked area in back of the bank, according to a police press release.
The man, standing around 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing at least 150 pounds, reportedly approached the teller window and passed a note demanding money while holding a handgun. The bank teller complied with the man’s demands and handed him an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.
