According to police, Stewart is McKinley's ex-boyfriend.

On Sunday, police responded to the 9000 block of Central Avenue around 6:14 a.m., after they received reports of a shooting. There they found McKinley, of 4600 block of Heath Street in Capitol Heights, fatally shot inside a car.

Another 23-year-old woman was in the car at the time, but was shot in the hand and transported to a local hospital. Police learned that the women were shot on Heath Street, but drove to a safe location on Central Avenue before calling police.

Now police are trying to find Stewart. A investigation revealed that Stewart and McKinley allegedly argued in front of her workplace—Irving's Night Club—before security kicked him out.

Police believe Stewart waited at the victim's home for her to return and allegedly shot both women when they arrived.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Stewart should contact the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.
