Upper Marlboro Man Shot and Killed in Landover

Keith Massaton Watson, 48, was killed on Monday, police believe his black Audi A6 was taken during the homicide.

 

Police on Tuesday identified 48-year-old Keith Massaton Watson of Upper Marlboro as the victim in a fatal shooting Monday in Landover. Detectives are searching for a suspect or suspects and for Watson's car, which they believe was taken during the homicide.

Watson's vehicle is a 2004 black Audi A6 with Maryland tags 01524CE, according to the Prince George's County Police Department, which has provided a picture of a similar vehicle.

Officers responded at 12:55 p.m. Monday to a shooting in the 8500 block of Rainswood Drive in Landover. When they arrived, they discovered Watson inside an industrial building suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Watson, of the 9100 block of Grandhaven Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
