Upper Marlboro Man Faces Drug Charges After Laurel Fight

A 20-year-old man was arrested Saturday and charged with drug possession and distribution after Anne Arundel County police say he tried to flee from officers.

Jeremiah Brown, 20, of the 5100 block of Woodford Lane, was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance – marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and resisting arrest.

The arrest occurred Saturday at Whiskey Bottom Road near Yellow Flower Road, according to a news release from Anne Arundel County Police Department.  An officer on the scene observed several males walking behind a business in the area.

According to the release, the officer recognized one of the men from previous contacts. That man turned out to Brown, police said.
