Upper Marlboro Man Faces Conspiracy Charges

Daren Gadsden, along with three others, reportedly took funds from the Baltimore Housing Authority, according to The Baltimore Sun.

An Upper Marlboro man was charged with conspiracy for his role in allegedly defrauding the Baltimore Housing Authority out of $1.4 million, according to a report in the Baltimore Sun.

Daren Kareem Gadsden, of Upper Marlboro, along with Tyeast Brown, William Darden and Keith Daughtry were each charged with conspiracy after they allegedly transferred funds out of the authority's account through a shell company, the Sun reported. 

If convicted, the men face 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine, according to the Maryland U.S. Attorney's office.
