Upper Marlboro Man Charged with Human Trafficking
Taurus Wheeler was caught during a prostitution sting in Howard County, local newspaper reports.
A 31-year-old Upper Marlboro resident has been charged with human trafficking after he tried to hire a female police officer to work for him as a prostitute, according to news reports.
Taurus D. Wheeler was arrested in the Howard County section of Laurel, The Howard County Times reported. Also, Wheeler was arrested during a prostitution sting in the county, where female police officers worked undercover to see if they'd be solicited for sex. According to TBD, Wheeler was one of eight people arrested in the sting. He initially provided a false name to police, according to the TBD report.
