Report: Upper Marlboro Man Charged in Drug Investigation

An Upper Marlboro man is arrested in a drug investigation in Lothian, Md., according to a report.

 

A 40-year-old Upper Marlboro man was arrested during an investigation into drug activity in the 900 block of Lower Pindell Road in Lothian, Md., WUSA9 reports. 

Wayne Darnell Creek Sr., of Upper Marlboro, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of equipment to produce a controlled dangerous substance last week. Officers seized of .5 grams of crack cocaine, $2,475 in cash and a digital scale, according to the TV station.

In addition, seven dogs were seized during the investigation. WUSA9 reported that five of the dogs were reunited with owners, while the remaining two (Lucy, a 2-year-old beagle, and Rica, a 4-year-old Shepherd) are up for adoption.

The investigation also led to the arrest Delano Emanuel Creek, 47, of Chesapeake Beach on an outstanding warrant in Calvert County, according the WUSA9 report.
