Upper Marlboro Man Charged After Possible Machete Attack

An Upper Marlboro man is facing attempted murder charges after the Prince George's County Office of the Sheriff arrested him Tuesday for allegedly attacking a man with a machete.

According to The Gazette, deputies said Eddie Ivey, 59, may have struck another man in the head with a machete on April 10 in Suitland.

Ivey, of the 9300 block of D'Arcy Road, is facing several charges— attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault and use of a dangerous weapon. He is being held without bond.
