Three Arrested in the Killing of Henri Pratt

The Clinton man was stabbed in Capitol Heights last month.

County police officers have arrested three people in connection with the murder of 26-year-old Henri Dominic Pratt last month in Capitol Heights.

According to police information, officers arrested Brandon Lytle, 24, of the 7000 block of Canyon Drive in Capitol Heights; Davinicio Irvin Coleman, 22, of the 100 block Garth Terrace in Gaithersburg; and Demir Michael Stevenson, 23, of the 7100 block of Giddings Drive, Capitol Heights.

Lytle and Coleman were arrested in Maryland on July 5, and Stevenson was arrested in Washington, D.C., on July 6, police said. Lytle and Stevenson are charged with first degree murder. Coleman is charged with attempted murder.

On June 26, shortly before 2 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 7100 block of Hastings Drive for a reported cutting. Upon their arrival, officers found Henri Pratt, of the 8500 block of Sumter Lane in Clinton, suffering from trauma to his body. He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Since then, friends have taken to Twitter to express their grief and outrage over the incident. On June 29, more than 200 people attended a candlelight vigil in remembrance of Pratt. He is survived by a three-year-old daughter.

Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at (301) 772-4925.
