Suspect in Custody for Upper Marlboro Shooting

Thomas Livingston Moore allegedly shot a man in the face last week in Upper Marlboro.

Prince George’s County Sheriff's deputies have arrested Thomas Livingston Moore, 22, for attempted first-degree murder after the suspect allegedly shoot a male victim in the face following a verbal altercation in Upper Marlboro on April 25, 2012.

Police negotiated with Moore’s attorney for his surrender. The suspect turned himself in at the Prince George’s County Detention Center and was taken into custody, according to officials.

Moore is being held by the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections with no bond. He is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, use of a firearm in a violent crime, illegally carrying a handgun on person.

A preliminary hearing is set for May 29.
