Report: Upper Marlboro Man Gets 25 Years for Fast Food Robbery

The assailant pistol whipped a fast food manager and then stuck him in the freezer.

A 45-year-old Upper Marlboro man has been sentenced to 25 years for robbing a fast food restaurant, attacking the manager and putting him into a freezer, WUSA9 reported.

Bryon Mitchell robbed a restaurant in the 9400 block of Annapolis Rd. in Lanham on May 29, 2011. He brandished a weapon, according to records, and asked the manager to open the registers and safes. According to the report, the manager wouldn't comply, so Mitchell pistol-whipped his victim, until he opened the safes.

Mitchell left with $850 in cash and stuck the manager in the freezer, according to the report.
