Pr. George's Police Ask Public to Help Find Shooting Suspect

Victim walks into hospital seeking aid for gunshot wound from Brandywine robbery.

 

Prince George's County Police are asking the public for help finding a man wanted in a shooting and armed robbery Tuesday in Brandywine.

Authorities are looking for Terry Lynn Savoy, 43, also known as Terry Lynn Brown, who has no fixed address. Savoy is charged with first degree assault, and police are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to call them.

The victim walked into an area hospital for help after being robbed and shot in the 14200 block of Gibbons Church Road, according to police. The victim and suspect are acquaintances. 

Anyone with information can call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s R.I.D. South District IV Investigative Unit at (301) 749-5064.  Police said callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477), text “PGPD plus your message” to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone or go to the Prince George's County Police Department website and submit a tip online.
