Police Release Video of Person of Interest in Stabbing Death

An Upper Marlboro man was stabbed to death in DC earlier this month; Metropolitan Police are seeking someone in connection with the crime.

The Metropolitan Police Department have identified a person of interest in the May 1 stabbing death of of Dwayne Edward Brisbon, 33, of Upper Marlboro.

Police responded to a report of a vehicle accident at approximately 2:15 a.m. on May 1 at the 500 Block of Florida Avenue, NW and found Brisbon at the scene suffering from an apparent stab wound. Brisbon was transported to the hospital where he later died of his injuries, according to police reports.

Police have released a video of someone they believed connected with the crime. Anyone with knowledge of the case, or of the identity of the suspect filmed in the video is asked to call police at 202-797-9099, or send an anonymous text to the tip line by messaging 50411.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person wanted for homicide in the District of Columbia.
