Police Officers Offering Car Seat Check-Ups Tomorrow
If you're unsure about the safety of your car seat, go to Mt. Rainer for a check-up.
Prince George's County Police will be available Friday in Mt. Rainier to check the safety of car seats already installed in cars.
With help of the members of the Bunker Hill Fire Station and the Prince George's Community Federal Credit Union, certified car seat technicians will check car seats for recall status and insure car seats and booster seats are installed correctly for the child.
According to PGPD, at a recent car seat check-up event, 93 percent of the seats were either not safe for the child or improperly installed.
