Police Investigating Homicide in Fairmount Heights

Antwain Elisha Henderson's burned body was found inside a vehicle.

County homicide detectives are investigating the death of Antwain Elisha Henderson, whose burned body was found in a car in Fairmount Heights on Wednesday. Henderson was 34.

At 5 a.m., Wednesday, patrol officers and fire fighters responded to the 800 block of Balsamtree Place for a vehicle fire. Once the fire was extinguished, they discovered Henderson's body inside the vehicle. According to police information, Henderson lived along the 5600 block of Coolidge Street in Capitol Heights.

Detectives have established this to be a murder case. They are working to identify the suspects and establish a motive.
