Update: Fire Out in Upper Marlboro, One Resident Burned
Firefighters spent Tuesday evening fighting a blaze on Fareham Lane in Upper Marlboro.
Update, 11:22 p.m.: It took firefighters nearly two hours to extinguish a fire in a townhome on Fareham Lane in Upper Marlboro Tuesday evening.
According to PGFD Spokesman Mark Brady, the fire spread into two other homes. By 8:20 p.m., most of the fire was knocked down and firefighters re-entered the structure to make sure it was out.
A resident in the home was taken to a local burn unit to be treated for burns on his arms, Brady said.

Although, no one else was injured, he said several families will be displaced.
Original Post, 7:10 p.m.: Prince George's County firefighters are working to extinguish a fire in the 13900 block of Fareham Lane in Upper Marlboro.

According to PGFD Spokesman Mark Brady, heavy smoke is billowing out of the 3-story townhouse and the fire has spread to the adjacent townhome. The fire started just after 6:30 p.m.
Although firefighters attempted to extinguish the fire from inside, they were evacuated as of 7:10 p.m.
Brady tweeted that one resident has a burn injury.
