Man Charged for Fatal Summer Shooting of Teen

Police arrested Marquis Desean Foster on Monday.

Marquis Desean Foster has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting of 16-year-old Marquis Davis in Fort Washington last summer.

On June 10, shortly after 11 p.m., Prince George’s County police officers were called to the 11100 block of John Paul Jones Avenue for a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, police found Davis, of the 5300 block of East Boniwood Turn in Clinton, suffering from trauma to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a police press release.

Foster, 19, was arrested Monday at his home in the 12300 block of Proxmire Drive in Fort Washington. He is being held without bond at the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro.
