Ft. Washington Man Arrested in Burglary

The man was arrested and charged on a number of counts.

Prince George's County deputies arrested Delona Walker, of Ft. Washington, last week on a warrant for multiple counts of first degree burglary.

According to the warrant, Walker and another man were arrested on Feb. 13 in a stolen vehicle from Fairfax, VA, after the driver and front seat passenger fled from the car. The Prince George's County Police arrested them in the 6900 block of Cherryfield Road.

A search of the vehicle revealed assorted stolen items that were reportedly taken from a number of homes in Prince George's County, police said.

Walker is charged with two counts of first gegree burglary, two counts of conspiracy to commit first degree burglary, two counts of theft: over $1,000 to under $10,000, theft-scheme: over $1,000 to under $10,000, two counts of fourth degree burglary and two counts of malicious destruction of property over $500.
