Arrest Made in Fatal Clinton Drive-by Shooting
Police are still looking for the vehicle involved in the incident.
Prince George’s county police have arrested a suspect in Saturday morning’s fatal drive-by shooting in Clinton and charged him with first degree murder.
Darryl Sherwood Adamson Jr., 19, is being charged in the slaying of 18-year-old Brandywine resident Darius Trey Turner.
According to police, Tuner was standing in a parking lot in Clinton when a dark-colored sedan approached him. Adamson—reportedly the passenger in the vehicle—opened fired from inside the car, striking and fatally wounding Turner, police said.

Although Turner was alive when police arrived on the scene, he died after being transported to a local hospital.
Adamson was arrested at his home in Clinton on Saturday and charged with first degree murder. Police are still seeking information on the vehicle involved in the incident, described as a dark colored, four-door sedan with tinted windows.
