Accident in Upper Marlboro Sends Man to Hospital

A 35-year-old man has serious, non-life threatening injuries.

A 35-year-old man has been flown to a local trauma center after sustaining serious, non-life threatening injuries during a car accident in Upper Marlboro this morning.

The accident occurred along the 4500 block of Brown Station Road. According to county fire spokesman Mark Brady, it took about 30 minutes to remove the trapped man from his vehicle.

County police officers are investigating the accident. It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
