Water Main Repaired in Bowie

A break along a 24-inch water main on Hall Road could have affected service to Upper Marlboro.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) has repaired a break in a small pipe along Hall Road that briefly affected water service to south Bowie and parts of Upper Marlboro.

According to a WSSC press release, the pipe was disconnected from the 24-inch water main, which caused the service disruption. An "undetermined" number of customers lost water service, the press release said.
